Welcome to Addison PTA's New Website!

*NOTE- Some tools will not be available to use until you sign up and create and account*

Please register and Log in to use this amazing new tool that has been made available to us. We want to thank all of you that have given money to PTA and/or volunteered your time. Without your support, all the wonderful things PTA does would not be possible. We appreciate you showing your commitment and continuing to help us provide special events, educational tools and much more to your child.

If you already have a Membership Toolkit account with another organization, you can use the same log-in here.

Why should I register?

Signing up with Membership Toolkit is not the same as joining the PTA.Membership Toolkit is the service that empowers you to make purchases, complete paperwork, and coordinate our volunteer efforts —all online. The goal is to save time, and work together more smoothly!

Once registered, you can:

  • Join our PTA (and pay dues) online
  • Sign-up to receive important communications
  • Complete your directory information
  • Volunteer
  • Donate
  • Purchase spirit wear
  • Access the online directory and app (for PTA members only)
  • Access to content website pages just for our families and members

Joining the PTA allows us to provide so many wonderful events for the children and families. The PTA sponsors The Family Fun Carnival, The Holiday Shoppe, Teacher Grants and so much more.

"JOINING" THE PTA DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RUNNING ANY EVENT OR COMMITTEE. IT MEANS YOU PAID YOUR $6 DUES TO HELP SUPPORT THE COMMITTEES AND EVENTS

I SCREAM, YOU SCREAM,

WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!!!!

Everyone LOVES Ice Cream AND Everyone LOVES PTA!!

Let’s combine both!!

Each class that has a PTA membership purchased for every child in the class will receive an

ICE CREAM PARTY!!

(For Example: If Ms. Lorenz’s class has 21 kids, there needs to be 21 PTA memberships associated with that class. It can be a parent purchase, a grandparent purchase or one family may purchase 3 memberships, etc.)

This contest ends Friday September 8th.

Please go online to addisonpta.membershiptoolkit.com to register for an account and pay for your membership. Make sure you fill out your child’s teacher to have them receive credit in their class.

We can’t wait to see how many classes get to celebrate!!

* If classrooms have an allergy, we will make sure that child has a “treat” to celebrate too!!!

Ms. Burdett's class is in the lead with the most PTA memberships!! Keep it up!!

Eclipse News: Announcement From Cobb County Schools:Cobb Schools Extend School Day by 45 minutes on August 21, 2017 due to Solar Eclipse.

The peak time to experience the solar eclipse falls during our regularly scheduled elementary school dismissal time. Since student safety is always our first priority we will start the day on time and delay dismissal to ensure that neither students nor employees are on the roadways during the time of the eclipse. Subsequently, high schools and middle schools will delay dismissal as well. Schools will be provided with further guidance and instructional resources as appropriate. Parents are welcome to pick-up their child at the typical dismissal time if needed. For more information regarding the solar eclipse visit the National Weather Service at http://www.weather.gov/sgf/SolarEclipse. Please visit the Cobb County School District Website: www.cobbk12.org for further information and helpful links.

Addison Eclipse Plans- Students will do as follows:Per Cobb County School district, Kindergarten, First and Second grades will watch the eclipse via live streaming and will not go outside. 3rd, 4th and 5th graders, however, will be able to go outside to view the eclipse using the certified eclipse glasses and will only be allowed to go out if they have a permission slip signed by their parents. That permission slip must be turned in by Friday, August 18th. All students will be given the eclipse glasses. Thank you so much to The Foundation for providing glasses to all of our Addison Students!!! Our buses will not leave and our car pool will not start until 3:05, so if you want to check your child out early on August 21st , please do so before 1:45.
